Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in booking with the Multimatic Vehicle Dynamics Centre (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). Should you (‘you’) proceed to make a booking with us, you will be deemed to have read, accepted and agreed to these Booking Terms and Conditions as written.

General Obligations

  1. You will be held fully responsible for the conduct of all persons (‘guests’ or ‘your guests’) attending your booking.
  2. During your booking, your guests will respect our facility, personnel, contents and surroundings.
  3. You are granted limited permission to occupy our facility for testing purposes only.
  4. Your occupancy permission applies for the period stated in your booking invoice only.
  5. The number of guests attending your booking cannot exceed the number stated in your booking, unless we have previously agreed with you otherwise in writing.
  6. You are responsible for all damages and losses to our facility during your booking period and at any time your guests are at our facility . All associated costs, expenses or damages will be your responsibility and charged accordingly.
  7. Absolutely no pictures, digital images or recordings of any kind are permitted without our written permission (including permission relating to our facility and the equipment, resources and technology that we employ). Breach of this requirement will, in addition to confiscation/deletion of the prohibited pictures, images, recordings, etc., result in the cancellation of your booking without refund or any other liability on our part. In this regard, you are fully responsible for your guests.
  8. You agree to comply with all reasonable instructions given by us during your booking.
  9. If you have any disputes or complaints, you must notify us of the same as soon as practicable, but in no later than 5:00 PM of the next business day.
  10. Failure to comply with these Booking Terms and Conditions may result in the termination of your account with us and the cancellation of any future bookings.

Bookings

  1. Your booking amount will be confirmed via proforma invoice once we have scheduled your booking. Non-binding ‘guide pricing’ may be provided on our website.
  2. Unless we agree with you otherwise, all bookings require payment in full at least 10 business days before your booking.
  3. Acceptance of your booking is subject to (i) our providing you with written confirmation that your booking has been accepted, (ii) our receipt of full payment of you booking amount, plus applicable taxes, at least 10 business days before your booking.
  4. Your booking is subject to cancellation in our sole discretion (including, without limitation, for reasons beyond our control) and, absent reasonable cause on our part for such cancellation, we will endeavour to reschedule or refund the booking amount paid by you. We will have no other liability to you for any such cancellation under any theory of legal liability.

Payments

  1. If payment of your booking amount, plus applicable taxes, is not received in cleared funds at least 10 business days in advance, your booking will be cancelled, and you may be liable to pay a cancellation fee based on our ability to redeploy your booking.

Cancellations

  1. You may cancel your bookings free of charge up to 10 business days before your booking start date. If you purport to cancel inside this 10 business day period, we reserve the right to retain your booking amount as liquidated damages.

Arrivals and departures

  1. Your booking period will commence at 08:00 on the (first) day of your booking and finish at 17:00 on the (last) day of your booking.
  2. You may arrive on site at our facility from 07:45 on the day of your booking.
  3. Transportation vehicles can be parked on site the night before your booking after 18:00. However, this must be previously agreed with us and will be entirely at your risk.
  4. In no case will we be responsible for vehicles left on-site or parked at our facility.

Parking

  1. Your guests must comply with parking regulations and show consideration to other vehicles.
  2. Specific parking arrangements may be arranged in advance depending on availability.

Other

  1. Whilst on-site at our facility, we do not take any responsibility for your personal belongings. If we locate any personal belongings left behind, we will hold these belongings for 30 days. If you do not contact us or collect the belongings within 30 days, we may dispose of them as we see fit, without liability. Our handling, storage and delivery may incur additional charges.
  2. You indemnify and will keep us indemnified against any claims, actions, damages, losses or expenses which we incur or are liable for as a result of any action or omission by you or any your guests concerning your booking at our facility, including your and their presence on-site at our facility, vehicle parking, personal belongs and other related matters.
  3. By mutual agreement, our entire liability to you is limited to the booking amount you paid in respect of the particular booking.
  4. These Booking Terms and Conditions (i) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, (ii) represent the entire agreement between you and us in connection with the subject matter hereof, and (iii) supersede any previous understandings, negotiations and agreements about the subject matter. No other terms and conditions shall apply, including (without limitation) any terms and conditions contained or referenced in your purchase order, booking confirmation/acknowledgment form, payment remittance, correspondence or otherwise.
